- 2 large onions
- 200g tomato juice (mashed tomatoes)
- 3 tablespoons oil
- Bay leaves

How to prepare yahnie
The beans are soaked the night before in plenty of water, because they swell and absorb a lot of moisture.
Wash well and remove the beaten or damaged grains and boil in clean water. After 30 minutes, replace the water and cook for another 20 minutes, until the berries are soft and their peel is easy to chew.
Separately, in a pot, heat the sausages cut into thin slices in a little oil. When they are browned, add the finely chopped onions and leave until it becomes translucent.
Add 300ml of hot water, 2 bay leaves, a little tarragon and let it boil for 20 minutes. After this time, add the boiled beans and tomato juice with a whisk. Leave it on the fire for another 10 minutes, season with salt and pepper and turn off the heat.
When the program allows you to enjoy a bean stew with sausages and red onions, the combination is insane.
Bean stew with sausages (low beans)
Bean stew or low beans with sausages prepared according to a Transylvanian recipe. It is a traditional recipe, very easy to prepare.
In our family it is one of our favorite dishes. No pot is too big for the beans. They eat the ground to the last grain. I usually cook a bigger pot to get us 2-3 days. If you want to cook a smaller portion you can use the same recipe, just cut the portions in half.
Method of preparation
One evening before preparing the recipe, the beans are chosen, washed well and put in a bowl with water to soak. The next day, it is boiled in 4 waters to be tolerated by the stomach at the time of consumption. Bring water to a boil each time, discard and replace again with hot water. After the fourth changed water, drain the beans and place in a bowl.
Step 2: Preparation
Fry the sausages in the pan, turning them to brown on all sides. After the sausages are fried, take them out on a plate, and heat the onion in the oil left in the pan. When the onion is hardened, add the tomato broth, half a cup of water, salt and boiled beans. Put the sausages, pepper, bay leaves and thyme in the pan, and the food is ready to boil.
Step 3: Boil
Boil on the stove for 30 minutes on low heat or put in the oven at 180 degrees.
Bean dish with sesame. Ready in just 15 minutes
Bean food is considered a traditional food in many countries, with hundreds of versions all over the world. The French call it cassoulet and cook it with duck. Seafood or fish are added to Mediterranean cuisine.
In South America there are versions with beef or different kinds of sausages. Vegetarians simply give up the meat in it and add various spices and greens to enhance its taste.
As I've told you in other posts, I have days when I eat vegetarian to maintain a balanced diet.
Today being one of those days I chose to make the vegan version of the bean recipe, with a special twist: I added sesame.
But for those who do not want to give up meat, you can always add a chorizo sausage, cut into thick slices, which will bring an extra taste that will satisfy even the most carnivorous of you.
You can enjoy it hot, because the flavors of the ingredients used intensify and you can make it as spicy as you want (according to taste), choosing more or less hot peppers.
It can be made with any kind of beans, and to shorten the cooking time I used pre-cooked beans.
The way we serve this bean dish leaves room for imagination.
I used a metal bowl serving Indian food, especially curry, but you can also use other plating such as a flat plate, a clay bowl, to which you can add a few slices of garlic-flavored toast, which go great with this food and adds a crunchy texture.

If you follow the steps below, you will be able to surprise those around you with the tastiest bean stew, fasting. Here's what to do:
The beans are picked, washed in a few waters and then left to soften from evening to morning. In the morning, remove and bring to a boil in 2-3 waters, to eliminate all toxins. After boiling and the grain is soft but whole, it is drained in a sieve.
During this time, cut the onion into scales, grind the garlic and put it to harden in a pan with oil. When the onion has become glassy, add the beans and a little water.
Separately, prepare the tomato paste with salt, pepper, thyme and paprika, and if the paste is too thick, add a little lukewarm water and pour over the beans. Add a bay leaf and let it drop, at the right heat, in the oven. Serve with pickles and garnish with green parsley.
