The top is easy to prepare: mix sifted flour with baking powder, cold but soft butter, cut into pieces, egg, vanilla and sour cream, knead enough to homogenize the ingredients and form a dough that you flour with a tablespoon of flour and put it refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Washed and cleaned apples are scraped in a bowl.

Remove the dough from the cold and divide it into two approximately equal pieces.

Spread the first sheet on a slightly floured surface and place it in the tray, put the apples, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, then vanilla and put on top the second sheet stretched beforehand. We prick the sheet on the whole surface as we want, with or without a pattern.

Bake the cake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, let it cool then powder it with vanilla powdered sugar.
