Cook at 180 degrees for 8 minutes, turning once. Grease with the rest of the chili sauce and leave for another 5 minutes or until it starts to caramelize.

Salmon Teriyaki

I had a lot of fun when I saw what it is and how it's done "salmon in the sauce Teriyaki”In the vision of those who graze, they traffic on the back of the Mioritic Mast. Steal a picture from the BBC food site, translate some more with Gug's help weeknight supper gets late soup , egg noodles gets egg noodles , and ginger stubborn to remain ginger, does not want to metamorphose into ginger . You put something from Wikipedia in the second hand, you say the deep one with mustard & # 8217, you put another stolen picture and the article is ready. That if you put the ingredients and the final picture, it's enough to confuse us with the technological process! Good so bad, otherwise who knows what would have come out of the Gugali translation.

Later edit: the incriminated site & # 8220m ** & # 8221 has nothing to do with the Pro trust or the show Masterchef, whose official website is this.

I've cooked in Teriyaki style, but every time I used commercial Teriyaki sauce, ready made. Looking for a way to prepare a Teryiaki salmon as close as possible to the Japanese one, I found this one, which I adopted. Here we learned that the Japanese do not buy Teriyaki sauce but prepare it themselves, in various ways. Any Teriaki sauce includes soy sauce, sake, mirin, sometimes and sugar or honey. As I had sake (you can find it in the drinks section of Real, probably in other hypermarkets), and the mirin could be replaced with sake + sugar (although it's not the same thing), I prepared my own Teryiaki sauce. With which I cooked Teryiaki salmon, obviously.

What do you need?

  • 2-3 salmon fillets (150-100 g each)
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon white flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 tablespoon grape seed oil
  • 3 tablespoons Sake
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1.5 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • 125 g Thai rice, with long grain
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce.

How do you proceed?

  • First drain the salmon fillets well, then wipe off the excess water with absorbent towels, especially if you use frozen salmon, which is "glazed" with plenty of ice, that you only pay 50 Lei / kg (11 € / kg or £ 9 / kilo or US $ 30 / lb - as you wish)
  • Season the fillets with salt and pepper (watch out for salt, Teriyaki sauce also contains a lot of salt), then powder them with white flour
  • Heat the grape seed oil with the butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • When the butter has melted, fry the salmon fillets, 1-2 minutes on each side
  • Add a tablespoon of Sake, cover the pan and simmer for 3 minutes on low heat, then remove the fillets on a plate
  • Add the Teriyaki sauce to the pan, bring it to a boil, and after 1-2 minutes, when the sauce has thickened, reintroduce the salmon fillets that you grease with the sauce from the pan and brown them for another 1-2 minutes on each side.

Teriyaki sauce preparation:

  • Mix all the ingredients, except the lemon slice, stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the lemon slice, leave for 15 minutes, then squeeze and remove.

Rice preparation:

  • Put 1 L of boiling water, add ½ teaspoon of salt
  • When the water boils, add the bag of rice and half a lemon cut in half
  • Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package (16 minutes in this case):
  • Drain, pour into a bowl in which you add the olive oil and soy sauce and mix well.

Have fun and see you healthy again!

Glazed pineapple

1. Peel a pineapple. Start by cutting a lid at the bottom (at the base) and at the top (at the side with the leaves. Then place it vertically and with a knife with a thin blade peel it. At the end, slice it as much as possible). thin you want.

2. In a bowl, mix the honey with the cinnamon, a pinch of salt, a pinch of vanilla and very little rum to dilute the icing a little.

3. Pass each slice of pineapple through the sweet mixture and place on the hot grill very well. It lasts 1-2 minutes on each side, until it gets an appetizing crust.

4. Serve with pine buds drawn in a pan or with a cup of ice cream (vanilla or lemon).

Trick. Baked pineapple has yellowish scales, is heavier and has an intense smell. And if you can easily pull a leaf out of the middle, if it comes out easily, the pineapple is definitely ripe.

Suggestion. For a spicy taste, add a drop of chili to the icing mixture.

Caramelized salmon with spinach garnish? A healthy delight for our taste buds.

Ingredient list

• half a cup of apple cider
• a tablespoon and a quarter of honey
• 4 pieces of skinless salmon fillets (170g each)
• a tablespoon of olive oil
• salt and pepper
• two lemons
• a tablespoon of butter
• 340g fresh spinach
• a tablespoon and a half of white wine

How do you prepare?

Preheat the oven to 350 °. Wash the salmon well and place the four pieces in a large bowl. Meanwhile, you can put the apple cider and honey in a saucepan and cook over medium heat. Leave the mixture on the fire until it is reduced by half. When ready, remove from the heat and pour over the salmon. Let everything rest for 10 minutes.

During this time, put the olive oil in a large pan and leave it on medium-high heat. After 10 minutes, season the salmon with salt and pepper to taste and place it in the pan. Leave it on the fire for two minutes and sprinkle the pieces of fish with the mixture of cider and honey until the salmon begins to caramelize slightly.

After frying all four pieces in this way, pour the rest of the cider with honey and lemon juice. Transfer everything to a pan and leave in the oven for 6-8 minutes. To see if the fish is ready you can try it with the tip of a knife: the small pieces will break from it.

While the salmon is in the oven, melt the butter in a high pan, add the spinach, salt and pepper. Cook the spinach for a minute or until you notice that the leaves are starting to soften.

Pour the white wine over the mixture and leave on the fire for 1-2 minutes. When everything is ready, try to drain the spinach and divide it into four portions. Arrange on a plate: salmon with spinach garnish, decorated with lemon slices.

About Me

After a period of 2 years I decided to defeat my emotions and start this new project, a project that combines my two great passions: makeup and gastronomy.
Cooking has been part of my life since I was 8 years old, at that time I experienced the most odious dishes, and my passion for makeup and skin care made its presence felt during my student days, when my makeup was no longer limited to the common mascara and lip grape.
I want this blog to be the "place" where you can find useful things about makeup products, creams and all sorts of things, as well as about everyday food.
I look forward to seeing you every week with a new post!

This creamy stroganoff is made with vegetable broth, mushrooms and white wine. Make it healthier by using low-fat cream and serving it over high-fiber bean pasta or lentil pasta instead of regular pasta or white rice. Replace the cheese with vegan cream for cream if you are intolerant to milk.

Fiber is integrated into healthy intestines, normal bowel movements and poverty for weight management. Black beans and flaxseed in this recipe are high in fiber. Burgers are full of other healthy ingredients, such as peppers, mushrooms and corn.
